Blog devoted to investigating the implementation of the FAA’s NextGen changes at Charlotte Douglas International Airport to determine why it is such a poor design and why that design dumps the vast majority of the jet noise on two low income areas northeast and northwest of Charlotte, North Carolina. KCLT is owned by the City of Charlotte in Mecklenburg county and certainly benefits CharMeck residents by dumping departure noise onto it’s historically jet noise free neighbors in Eastern Gaston County & Western Cabarrus County as of December 2014.
